My Mississippi Adventures is a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed for children living, learning, and playing across Mississippi. My Mississippi Adventures spans one year of activities for children birth to 5, incorporates opportunities for children to learn in place, and encourages early care and education professionals to use local resources and materials to teach developmentally appropriate concepts through hands-on activities.

The curriculum offers early care and education professionals helpful tips and instructional strategies that guide implementation and environment design. Additionally, the curriculum includes five books written by a Mississippi author that takes children on a journey through their state to learn about its natural resources and amazing people.
